Is North Uist Wheelchair Friendly?

I made it onto the sand!

Most people visit North Uist for the stunning natural environment - particularly the beautiful beaches like the one in the photo above. As any wheelchair user will know, the natural environment gives not one flying ferret about accessibility, so we knew this was going to be a tough one. As per, we were determined though.
